Delphi Fuel Pump Hanger Assembly P/N:HP10145
Delphi HP10158 fuel pump hanger for the 1985-1986 Ford F-150 V8 5.0L and other vehicles mounts in the fuel tank and holds the float arm and the metal fuel tubes. The fuel pump hanger assembly comes with that float arm, which reports the tank level to the gas gauge.
Hard starting, stalling or a gas gauge that reads wrong can mean the hanger needs replacing, if the hanger is the cause. A clogged fuel filter can also make an engine hard to start, so rule that out first.
This hanger is a direct-fit replacement for the 1985-1986 Ford F-150 V8 5.0L and the 1985-1986 Ford F-250 V8 5.0L. Each truck takes one.
