Delphi Fuel Pump Module Assembly P/N:FG0008
Delphi FG0212 fuel pump module for the 1996-1997 Dodge Ram 1500 V6 3.9L, V8 5.2L or 5.9L and other vehicles delivers fuel from the tank to the engine. This fuel pump assembly includes a float arm, and Delphi builds its fuel pumps to its own OE standards.
Hard starting, stalling or a gas gauge that reads wrong can point to a worn pump module. A blown fuse or a failed relay can look the same, so with the engine off, look at the fuse and relay first and replace the module only if they are not the cause.
It fits the 1996-1997 Dodge Ram 1500 V6 3.9L, V8 5.2L or 5.9L, the 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 V8 5.2L and the 1996-1997 Ram 2500 V8 5.9L or V10 8.0L, and the 1996-1997 Dodge Ram 3500 V8 5.9L or V10 8.0L.

What signs can point to a worn Delphi module in the tank?
Hard starting, a whine from the tank or a gas gauge that reads wrong can all be signs. Fuel pressure tests need the engine running, so a shop should do them.
Is there an instruction sheet with the Delphi FG0212 fuel pump module?
Yes. An instruction sheet comes with the part, and the fuel tank should be checked and cleaned before the module goes in.
