Four Seasons A/C Accumulator P/N:83109
Keep your A/C running cool and dry with the Four Seasons A/C Accumulator 33136. It drops in as a direct-fit replacement for the 1994-1997 Chevrolet S10, 1994-1997 GMC Sonoma, and 1996-1997 Isuzu Hombre — see the Buyer's Guide tab for engine-specific coverage. Positioned on the low-pressure side of the system, the accumulator stores refrigerant, separates liquid from vapor before it reaches the compressor, and uses an internal desiccant to pull moisture and contaminants out of the loop.
Backed by over 50 years of mobile A/C experience, Four Seasons builds its accumulator/filter driers in an ISO/TS16949 & ISO14001 certified facility. Note that replacing the accumulator/filter drier is typically required to validate the compressor warranty and should be done any time the system is opened for service.
What does this A/C accumulator do?
It stores refrigerant on the low-pressure side, separates liquid from vapor to protect the compressor, and uses an internal desiccant to remove moisture and contaminants from the system.
Which vehicles does the 33136 fit?
It's a direct-fit replacement for the 1994-1997 Chevrolet S10, 1994-1997 GMC Sonoma, and 1996-1997 Isuzu Hombre. Check the Buyer's Guide tab to confirm your exact vehicle and engine.
Does it come with seals?
Yes. The necessary gaskets, o-rings, and seal are included for installation.
Why can't I just flush the old accumulator?
Flushing cannot remove the moisture and contaminants captured by the desiccant, so replacing the accumulator/filter drier is essential whenever the system is serviced.
Do I need to replace it when servicing the A/C?
It should be replaced any time the system is opened, and doing so is typically required to validate the compressor warranty. A saturated desiccant bag also makes the unit ineffective.
