This accumulator / filter drier is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 1985-1991 Mercury Grand Marquis, 1987-1991 Ford Country Squire and 1987-1991 Ford LTD Crown Victoria — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of applications.

The accumulator / filter drier acts as a filter, using a desiccant bag to draw moisture and contaminants out of the refrigerant circuit — the kind of debris that system flushing cannot remove, which is why the unit is replaced whenever the A/C is serviced.
