KYB Suspension Strut P/N:KG9003
KYB KG9307 rear suspension strut assembly for the 1985-1989 BMW 635CSi and other vehicles damps rear suspension movement with a high-pressure monotube design. This KYB strut assembly is a Gas-a-just monotube sold as an OE monotube replacement, and it adds up to 25% more damping performance than original equipment shocks.
Fluid leaking from the strut body, a bouncy ride or a clunk over bumps can mean a strut is worn. These signs alone do not prove the strut is the problem, since a worn tire can cause a similar shake.
Besides the 1985-1989 BMW 635CSi, this strut fits the 1982-1988 BMW 528e and the 1985-1988 BMW 535i. Driving a different BMW? Look up your year and model in the "Vehicles it fits" section. Plan on two struts per car, one on each side of the rear axle, and fit them together.

It is a rear part. KYB KG9307 goes on the rear axle, with one strut on each side.
How can I tell if a rear strut is leaking?
Oily wetness on the strut body is a visible sign, and fluid leaking can be a cause of shock failure. A bouncy ride can also mean wear, though other parts can feel similar.

Yes. G51330 is one of the interchange numbers listed for this KYB KG9307 rear strut assembly.
