Built for trucks and SUVs that work hard, this front left lower control arm from Mevotech TTX (CTXMS40170) is a direct-fit replacement for the 2009-2013 Ford F-150, 2007-2013 Ford Expedition and 2007-2013 Lincoln Navigator. It is a control arm and ball joint assembly, so the arm and ball joint are supplied together as one unit.

The Mevotech TTX control arm line is built for high-usage commercial and passenger vehicles, SUVs, fleets and working trucks. Its Labor Saver designs, tools and hardware are intended to make installation faster and easier.

  • Toughness and sealing: Patented sintered bearings are designed for longer-lasting performance. The Integri-Boot design built into the ball joint helps lock out moisture and contaminants.
  • Installation hardware: A part-specific slotted castle nut, an easy snap cotter pin and a 90-degree SAE grease fitting are included. A thicker, stronger ball joint flange helps prevent deformation during installation, and pre-applied nylok thread adhesive helps keep fasteners secure and resistant to vibration.
  • Upgraded bushings: The rubber bushings have knurling that secures the control arm bushing to the sub-frame.
  • Construction and finish: The arm is made of stamped steel, which Mevotech rates as meeting or exceeding OE specifications. A Repel-TEK surface treatment helps prevent rust build-up.
