Transmit torque smoothly through changing driveline angles with the Spicer Universal Joint 5-789X (also written 5789X), a non-greaseable 7260 Series u-joint from Dana Spicer. It connects driveshaft sections and lets the driveline flex as the suspension moves. • Solid cold-formed journal cross — engineered for better wear and overall strength.
• Heat-treated bearing cups — precision-ground and case-hardened for durability.
• Multi-lip seal — keeps grease in and contaminants out for maximum retention across a wide range of environments.
• Thrust washers — eliminate metal-to-metal contact to help reduce wear and lower the overall operating temperature.

As a non-greaseable design, it has no grease fitting to service; the sealed grease is retained by the multi-lip seal. If a worn or failing original u-joint is behind your driveline clunk or vibration, this replaces it.
