Standard Ignition Distributor Cap P/N:JH-226
Help route high-voltage spark to each cylinder with the Standard Ignition Distributor Cap JH-203. It fits many vehicles, among them the 1993-1997 Toyota Corolla, 1994-1997 Toyota Celica and 1992-1995 Toyota Paseo, as a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list and engine details.
The distributor cap takes voltage from the ignition coil through the spinning rotor and passes it to each spark plug wire terminal. Cracks, carbon tracking or corroded terminals inside an aging cap can disrupt that path. If a worn cap is behind a misfire or rough running, this cap replaces it.
When you replace a 1994-1997 Toyota Celica distributor cap, it is a good time to inspect the rotor and plug wires too.

Will this work as a 1995 Toyota Corolla distributor cap?
Yes. JH-203 is listed for the 1993-1997 Toyota Corolla, which includes the 1995 model year. Check the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine details on your car.
Which other vehicles does this distributor cap fit?
It also fits the 1994-1997 Toyota Celica and the 1992-1995 Toyota Paseo, among other models. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the complete fitment chart.
What does a distributor cap do?
It carries high voltage from the ignition coil, through the rotor, to each spark plug wire terminal in turn so every cylinder receives its spark.
What is the JH-203 made of?
Standard Ignition makes its distributor caps of high dielectric strength, glass/mineral reinforced polyester resin, which provides less carbon tracking and greater resistance to electrical breakdown.
What are signs a distributor cap may need replacing?
Signs include misfires, hard starting, rough running, visible cracks, carbon tracks or corroded terminals. Diagnose the cause first, because plugs, wires and the coil can cause similar symptoms.
