Standard Ignition Distributor Rotor P/N:LU-325
Keep high-voltage spark reaching each cylinder in firing order with the Standard Ignition Distributor Rotor LU-324. It is a direct-fit replacement for many vehicles, among them the 1971-1973 Plymouth Cricket, 1982-1987 Jaguar Vanden Plas and 1975-1987 Jaguar XJ6. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list.
The rotor mounts on the distributor shaft and turns with it. As it spins, it carries ignition-coil voltage from the center of the distributor cap to each outer terminal and on to the spark plugs.
A rotor may need replacing if you notice misfires, hard starting, rough running, or a rotor tip that is burned, eroded or marked by carbon tracks. If a worn rotor is the cause, the LU-324 replaces it. Inspect the distributor cap at the same time. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for engine details.

What does the LU-324 distributor rotor do?
It mounts on the distributor shaft and turns with it. It carries high voltage from the center of the distributor cap to each outer terminal so spark reaches the plugs in firing order.
Which vehicles is the LU-324 listed for?
It is listed for many vehicles, among them the 1971-1973 Plymouth Cricket, 1982-1987 Jaguar Vanden Plas and 1975-1987 Jaguar XJ6. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list.
What are the rotor's contact segments made of?
The rotor uses solid brass segments, which Standard Ignition specifies for better conductivity and higher-voltage spark to the plugs.
How does the alkyd material help?
Its high-grade dielectric strength alkyd resists dirt sticking to the surface. This helps decrease carbon tracking, a conductive path that can let spark leak away from its intended route.
What are signs my distributor rotor may need replacing?
Misfires, hard starting, rough running, or a burned, eroded or carbon-tracked rotor tip may indicate a worn rotor. Diagnose the cause before replacing, and inspect the distributor cap too.
