Standard Ignition Engine Oil Level Sensor P/N:FLS-75
Standard Ignition FLS-85 oil level sensor for the 1992-1999 Ford Ranger V6 3.0L and other vehicles monitors the oil level and alerts the driver to dangerously low oil. It is a direct-fit replacement for damaged OE units.
A low-oil warning that comes on with a normal oil level, or never comes on, can have several causes. First look for oil leaks around the sensor, and check the dipstick with the engine off and cool. If the engine oil level sensor is the cause, this unit replaces it.
The 1992-1995 Ford Mustang V8 5.0L, the 1996 Mustang V8 4.6L and the 2004 Ford Freestar V6 3.9L each take one of these sensors, as do many other Ford, Lincoln and Mercury models. Open the "Vehicles it fits" section to check your exact model and engine.
