Standard Ignition Ignition Control Module P/N:LX-382
Standard Ignition LX-605 ignition control module for the 1985-1991 Porsche 928 V8 5.0L and other vehicles switches the ignition coils on in response to the crankshaft position sensor signal. Its design targets the inherent failure issues of the original module.
Hard starting, misfires or stalling can point to a worn module, but a faulty crankshaft position sensor or ignition coil can produce them too, so find out which before you replace anything.
Vehicles covered include the 1985-1991 Porsche 928 V8 5.0L, the 1991-1995 Volvo 940 4-cylinder 2.3L, the 1990 Saab 900 4-cylinder 2.0L and the 1991-1994 900 4-cylinder 2.1L. If your car is not one of these, look it up in the "Vehicles it fits" section.
