TERREPOWER formerly BBB Industries Rack and Pinion Assembly P/N:N311-0226
TERREPOWER N311-0187 rack and pinion for the 2003-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser and other vehicles turns steering wheel rotation into the side-to-side movement that steers the wheels. This new hydraulic power steering unit, also called a rack and pinion assembly, adds fluid-pressure assist to that movement.
Heavy or loose steering, a groan when turning or fluid around the rack boots can mean the rack is worn, though a tired power steering pump or a leaking pressure hose can also be behind those signs. Find the cause first, then replace the rack if it is the culprit. Each vehicle takes one rack.
This rack and pinion fits the 2003-2007 Toyota Land Cruiser and the 2003-2007 Lexus LX470.
