Send drive power from the transaxle to the front-left wheel with the CARDONE New CV Axle Assembly 66-6258. This is a brand-new, direct-fit front-left half shaft for the 2007-2012 Nissan Sentra (All), built with new CV joints, a black neoprene boot, and a fresh axle retaining nut so it drops in without hunting for extra hardware.

CARDONE engineers each unit to O.E. form, fit and function, drawing on their study of why original CV axles fail:

  • Straightness-verified shaft: every steel drive-axle shaft is individually checked for straightness for vibration-free performance at all speeds.
  • Reinforced neoprene boots: the 5-rib black neoprene boots add bellows where needed to resist bellow stress and ozone cracking, the leading cause of boot failure.
  • Pneumatically crimped clamps: boot clamps are pneumatically crimped for a tight seal and packed with grease made to withstand high-temperature, high-torque demands.
  • Precision-rolled splines & threads: the 27-spline inboard and 29-spline outboard joints plus rolled threads promote proper fit into the hub, transmission, and axle nut.

Includes the complete axle, a new hex M24x1.5 retaining nut, and an instruction sheet; no ABS tone ring or U-joints. Country of origin: China. Interchange: 39101ET200 · Manufacturer part number 66-6258 (also 666258)

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this axle fit my vehicle?

It's a direct-fit front-left CV axle assembly for the 2007-2012 Nissan Sentra (All engines). Confirm your vehicle in the Buyer's Guide tab before ordering.

Is a new axle nut included?

Yes. A new hex M24x1.5 retaining nut ships with every unit, since the original is often worn or stripped. Torque it with a torque wrench to spec, never with an impact wrench.

Can I reuse the old prevailing-torque lock nut?

No. A prevailing-torque lock nut should never be reused. Discard the old nut and install the new one supplied with the axle.

My ABS light came on after installing a replacement axle. Why?

If the sensor ring, sensor, or wiring on or near the axle was damaged during install, it can send an erratic speed signal to the ABS module and set the light. Inspect those components.

Can I let the CV axle hang while I work?

Never allow a CV drive axle to hang unsupported. This can lead to axle separation and damage to the inner joint.
