Delphi Fuel Pump Hanger Assembly P/N:HP10247
Delphi HP10143 fuel pump hanger for the 1989-1997 Ford Thunderbird V6 3.8L, the 1991-1993 Thunderbird V8 5.0L, the 1994-1997 Thunderbird V8 4.6L and other vehicles holds the float arm and fuel delivery parts inside the fuel tank. The float arm reads the fuel level for the gas gauge, and its empty height and retention match OE specifications.
A gas gauge that reads wrong, noise from the tank or hard starting can be signs of a worn hanger. A clogged fuel filter, a weak fuel pump or a wiring fault can be behind them too, so find the cause before you buy. Each car takes one hanger, installed in the tank.
The hanger also fits the 1989-1997 Mercury Cougar V6 3.8L, the 1991-1993 Cougar V8 5.0L and the 1994-1997 Cougar V8 4.6L.
One fuel pump hanger assembly with float arm, seal, lock ring and instruction sheet.
