Delphi Fuel Pump Module Assembly P/N:FG1197
Delphi FG0843 fuel pump module for the 2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee and other vehicles delivers fuel from the tank to the engine. Delphi, a global OE manufacturer, builds this fuel pump assembly to its OE standards.
Hard starting, stalling or a gas gauge that reads wrong can mean the pump or float inside the tank is wearing out. These signs alone do not prove the module is the problem; a blown fuel pump fuse, for one, can look much the same.
This module fits the 2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the 2006-2010 Jeep Commander, and each takes one. The 2007-2009 Jeep Commander is covered with V6-3.7L, V8-4.7L or V8-5.7L engines, and the 2007-2009 Jeep Grand Cherokee with V6-3.7L, V8-5.7L or V8-6.1L, plus V8-4.7L in 2007-2008.
One fuel pump module with float arm, a seal and an instruction sheet.
Will the Delphi fuel pump module work in a 2006-2010 Jeep Commander?
Yes. Delphi FG0843 fits the 2006-2010 Jeep Commander, including 2007-2009 models with the V6-3.7L, V8-4.7L or V8-5.7L engine.
Does the Delphi fuel pump module assembly include the float arm and seal?
Yes. Delphi FG0843 comes with the float arm, a seal and an instruction sheet.
Does the Delphi fuel module put less load on the electrical system?
Yes. This fuel pump module draws lower amperage, so it loads the vehicle's electrical system less.
Which signs can point to a worn fuel pump module?
Hard starting or sputtering under load can mean the pump is weakening, and a gas gauge that reads wrong can point to the float.
Does the Delphi FG0843 need any prep work on the fuel tank before installing?
Yes. Check and clean the fuel tank before installing this module. An instruction sheet comes with the part for the steps.
