The upper control arm connects the rear wheel's knuckle to the chassis and holds it in position. The included ball joint lets the knuckle pivot as the suspension moves. Signs this part may need replacing include clunking from the rear over bumps, looseness or play at the ball joint, uneven tire wear, and wandering. If a worn arm or ball joint is the cause, TC4526 replaces both in one assembly.
