Raybestos builds its R-Line non-plated calipers from remanufactured OE units. Castings, guide pins and brackets are carefully inspected before they are reused, all rubber and sealing components are replaced with new ones, and every caliper is tested for dependable braking performance.

• New sealing and wear parts: The seals, boots, bleeder screws, abutment hardware, banjo bolts and O-rings are replaced with new materials, which is intended to give leak-free operation.
• EPDM70 rubber components: These are used for heat resistance, performance and durability.
• OE-matched materials: The materials match OE specifications and meet vehicle-specific designs.
• Specifications: The caliper has a cast iron casting, a 3 in (76.2 mm) piston diameter and a 3/8-24 bleeder screw thread.

A disc brake caliper presses the pads against the rotor when you apply the brakes.
