Description

Keep engine oil circulating under steady pressure with the MELLING oil pump M-99HV-S, a high-volume, gear-type replacement that draws oil from the sump and feeds it under pressure through the engine's oiling system. It's a direct-fit replacement for hundreds of Chevrolet applications, including the 1994-1996 Chevrolet Impala [V8-5.7L], 1988-1995 Chevrolet C1500 [V8-5.7L], 1969-1974 Chevrolet Blazer [V8-5.7L], and 1962-1969 Chevrolet Impala [V8-5.3L] — see the Buyer's Guide tab for the full list of 464 applications.

High-volume design: supplies roughly 25% more oil volume than a stock pump, adding flow when an engine needs it for high-performance builds or to address low oil pressure.
Cast iron and steel build: cast iron housing and cover with steel spur gears and a steel drive shaft; end plates are precision-ground for wear resistance, and the pump carries a rust-preventative finish.
Ready to install: ships with the pump cover, gears, intermediate shaft, drive shaft, and pickup screen. Mounting bolts and gaskets or seals are not included — consult the vehicle service information for the correct fasteners and whether they may be reused.

Melling machines its high-volume gears to close tolerances to help support proper oil pressure and efficient pump operation. The design is intended to raise oil pressure at idle and add flow for demanding use. Each pump is individually tested for pressure and flow in conditions that mimic real engine operation. The pickup tube and inlet measure 0.750 in (19 mm), and the housing carries two 0.25 in mounting holes. Made in the United States.
