NTK Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor P/N:EF0155
Give your engine computer an accurate read on coolant temperature with the NTK Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor EF0174, an NTK sensor with wires and probe length matched to OE. It fits many vehicles, among them the 2004-2012 Chevrolet Colorado 2.8L / 2.9L / 3.5L / 3.7L, 2004-2012 GMC Canyon 2.8L / 2.9L / 3.5L / 3.7L and 2006-2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer 4.2L; see the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list.
The sensor measures the temperature of the engine coolant and sends an analog signal to the ECM. The ECM uses that signal for proper air/fuel ratio and to run the cooling fan(s) and temperature gauge.
Signs this sensor may need replacing include check engine light illumination, an erratic or dead temperature gauge, erratic or no cooling fan operation, and engine overheating. These symptoms can have other causes, so diagnose before replacing. The listed applications use one sensor, and this package contains one.

What does the NTK EF0174 coolant temperature sensor do?
It measures engine coolant temperature and sends an analog signal to the ECM. The ECM uses that signal for air/fuel ratio control and to operate the cooling fan(s) and temperature gauge.
What are signs the coolant temperature sensor may need replacing?
Possible signs include a check engine light, erratic or no temperature gauge reading, erratic or no cooling fan operation, and engine overheating. These can have other causes, so diagnose before replacing.
Does the EF0174 come with a seal?
Yes, a gasket or seal is included. Thread sealer, mounting hardware, a mounting bracket and a wiring harness are not included.
Which vehicles does the EF0174 fit?
