Standard Ignition Distributor Cap P/N:AL-141
Standard Motor Products
Send coil voltage to every spark plug wire on your vintage Chrysler, Dodge or Plymouth with the Standard Ignition AL-130 Distributor Cap. It fits many vehicles and is a direct-fit replacement for the listed applications, including the 1949 Chrysler Town & Country and 1950-1952 Dodge Power Wagon. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list of applications and engine details.
The distributor cap covers the top of the distributor and receives ignition-coil voltage at its center terminal. As the rotor turns beneath it, that voltage jumps to each outer terminal and travels on to the spark plug wires in firing order.
Signs a distributor cap may need replacing include misfiring, hard starting and rough running. On inspection, look for cracks, carbon tracks or corroded terminals. If a worn cap is the cause, the AL-130 replaces it. Diagnose the ignition system before replacing parts.

This part cross-references / interchanges with the following part numbers:
What does a distributor cap do?
It covers the distributor and receives ignition-coil voltage at its center terminal. The rotor then carries that voltage past each outer terminal to the spark plug wires in firing order.
What is the Standard Ignition AL-130 distributor cap made of?
Standard Ignition makes this cap from high dielectric strength, glass/mineral reinforced polyester resin. It is designed for less carbon tracking and greater resistance to electrical breakdown.
Which vehicles does the AL-130 fit?
It fits many vehicles, including the 1949 Chrysler Town & Country and 1950-1952 Dodge Power Wagon. See the "Vehicles it fits" section for the full list.
What are signs of a failing distributor cap?
Misfires, hard starting, rough running, cracks, carbon tracks or corroded terminals may point to a worn cap. Other ignition components can cause the same symptoms, so diagnose the system first.
What part numbers does the AL-130 cross-reference?
It cross-references C140, 1235421, 367469, AL906, AL98, 19106472, 3132 and 3147.
