Replace a worn 2014-2015 Ford F-150 control arm with the Mevotech TTX CTXMS401114, a front left lower control arm with ball joint that is also a direct-fit replacement for the 2014-2017 Ford Expedition and 2014-2017 Lincoln Navigator. Mevotech designs its TTX line for high-usage passenger vehicles, SUVs, fleets and working trucks. It also adds Labor Saver™ designs and hardware intended to make installation faster and easier.

This control arm and ball joint assembly links the wheel end to the sub-frame. The arm lets the suspension travel, and its ball joint gives the steering a pivot point.

  • Sintered bearings: patented sintered bearings designed for longer-lasting performance.
  • Integri-Boot™ seal: a boot design built into the ball joint assembly helps lock out moisture and contaminants.
  • Knurled rubber bushings: upgraded rubber bushings with knurling that secures the control arm bushing to the sub-frame. The ball joint also has a thicker, stronger flange designed to prevent deformation during installation.
  • Stamped steel with Repel-TEK™: stamped steel construction built to OE-level specifications or better, with a Repel-TEK™ surface treatment that helps prevent rust build-up.

This Mevotech TTX control arm comes with a part-specific slotted castle nut and an easy-snap cotter pin for securing the ball joint. It also includes both 180-degree and 90-degree SAE grease fittings for servicing. Pre-applied nylok thread adhesive helps keep fasteners secure and vibration resistant.
